Warum der Umweg sich lohnt
A crossing has linked Asakusa with the eastern bank since the eighteenth century, and today's red bridge frames classic river and skyline views.
The Azuma Bridge, originally built in 1774, is a historic crossing over the Sumida River in Tokyo. Rebuilt after the Great Kanto Earthquake, it is a symbol of Asakusa and offers picturesque views.
