Where to stay
Sleep here for cafes downstairs and quieter nights than in Mitte. The island is about twenty minutes on foot in the morning.

The Wall memorial on Bernauer Straße closes the western edge and is not the middle of the walk. The courtyards, the market and Helmholtzplatz lie further east, by the Kulturbrauerei.
