Kossuth Square, the Chain Bridge and Vörösmarty Square along the Danube, with the National Museum farther south.
The first day on the Pest side: parliament in the morning, Vörösmarty in the evening.
Useful if you want the river outside the door. The bridge is noisy, and it is calmer toward the National Museum.

Parliament is the north end on Kossuth Square, Váci and Vörösmarty are the pedestrian middle, and the National Museum is farther south, off the water, on the museum boulevard. The Chain Bridge leads to the castle, a crossing of the river.
