Eiffel Art Studios
The Opera's workshops, rehearsal stages, costumes and scenery now occupy a vast railway repair hall built between 1884 and 1886 to accommodate scores of steam locomotives. A surviving locomotive stands amid the theatrical complex, while a rehearsal stage duplicates the dimensions of the Opera House stage so productions can be assembled here before moving downtown.
