The streets between the river and the east gate: Chang Klan by day and the night bazaar after. By day these are shops. After sunset the rows come out into the street.
Why go
After dark. There is no reason to come in the morning. The old-city gate is the better walk then.
Where to stay
Stay only if you want the market outside the door. A quiet morning is better inside the walls.

The bazaar takes Chang Klan east of the moat. The river is one more block, past the promenade.
