The far bank: Santo Spirito, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. The Brancacci Chapel is further west, in the same quarter, at the foot of the hill rather than up by Michelangelo.

The second walk, after the centre. Boboli is better in the morning, Pitti by day, Santo Spirito toward evening.
A good base if the day was spent in the centre and the night should be quieter. The cathedral is across Ponte Vecchio, not far. The suitcase belongs here.

Boboli is entered from the courtyard of Palazzo Pitti. The Brancacci Chapel is in Santa Maria del Carmine: west from Santo Spirito along short streets, not the road up to Piazzale Michelangelo.
