Why go
Temples in the morning, food streets after dark. At noon the arcades are what keep the sun off.
Where to stay
The best base if you want to walk to both a temple and the quay. Gurney from here is a ride north.

Armenian Street is shorter than Chulia, and quieter. Beach Street is closer to the water. Chulia holds the middle of the grid.
