The former bus depot south of the shophouse grid: courts, workshops and bar doors. This is one quarter’s evening, not a temple day.
Why go
After dark. By day the court is almost empty. It switches on around dinner.
Where to stay
No reason to sleep here if your base is already in the old town. Walk over for the evening: this is the south edge, not a separate shore.

The entrance is off Jalan Gurdwara. The jetties stay to the east, past the big road.
Where to have it
- Backdoor Bodega — Ко Юнг Шен после закрытия одежного магазина наливает в задней комнате: бар притворяется лавкой слишком дорогих значков, и стакан идёт вместе со значком.
- Good Friends Club — Лоррейн Тан и Кельвин Вонг собирают коктейли из урожая северных ферм, куда бар ездит сам.
- Hin Bus Depot — Бывшее автобусное депо с 2014 года сдаёт боксы под ярмарку, еду и выставки. Это один двор, ларьки внутрь не режутся.
- No Bar Here — Вторая комната того же Шена играет в коктейли 1980-х, а вывеска над дверью настаивает, что бара здесь нет.
