Palace and the Generalife
Alhambra
Cuesta de Gomérez, Calle Real de la Alhambra, Plaza de los Aljibes
The hill where a visitor spends half a day: the Alhambra, the Generalife and the Nasrid palaces. The cathedral below stays out of this ring. The walk down into town is a separate one.

The Alhambra, the Generalife and the Nasrid palaces on one hill, where half a day goes.
Come in the morning, when the palaces open. After lunch the stone is hot and the groups are already inside.
Sleep on the hill only for the dawn entrance. Evenings are empty here. A suitcase is easier in the lower town.

The palaces and the Generalife are one hill, so walk them together; the descent to Plaza Nueva and the cathedral is already another way out. From the Cuesta de Gomérez the climb is steep, and inside the walls the courts are level.
