The lower town under the castle. Wallenstein Palace, the church of St Nicholas and Charles Bridge are one walk, and the Petřín tower is the climb above them.
Why go
The same day after the castle, or the next morning. The bridge is best in the evening.
Where to stay
A practical base between the castle and the old town. Do not haul a suitcase up Petřín.

Charles Bridge is the eastern edge of the walk. The Wallenstein garden cuts through the palaces on a short quiet path, and Petřín is its own climb above the lanes.
