Why go
After the New Town, in the afternoon. Mornings up here are quieter than at the castle.
Where to stay
No reason to sleep on the rock, there is little street around it. Leave the suitcase in the New Town.

It is a short loop on the rock, south of the New Town, separate from Wenceslas Square. The cemetery sits against the basilica, and the wall walk gives the view over the river.
