Morning, so you are back in Tsim Sha Tsui by evening. In fog the terrace shows neither the statue nor the airfield below.

Leave the suitcase in the city. A night on the island is for anyone going back up to the Buddha in the morning.

The plateau is a cable car or a bus: the stairs to the statue start behind the village, and Po Lin Monastery stands at their foot. The way down is the same ride back.
