Why go
Come in the morning, when Chora opens. By day the walls have no shade. In the evening you do not come back here from Beyoğlu.
Where to stay
Too far for the night. The suitcase stays in Sultanahmet or Beyoğlu. This is a half-day outing.

This is the land-wall corner, a walk of its own from Fener. Chora stands just inside the walls, Mihrimah stands at the Edirnekapı gate, and the Palace of the Porphyrogenitus follows the wall toward Eğrikapı.
