Ratshof church, the Amalienau villas and the Hans Hopp house form the garden quarter in the west. The puppet theatre and Central Park close the east end of this walk.
Why go
A quiet separate outing, best in daylight when the facades show.
Where to stay
Sleep among the villas if the square is not needed every evening. The island is a ride away, so for several days in the centre keep the suitcase there.

Look at the villas from the side streets, Kutuzov and Chapaev: from Prospekt Pobedy you see roofs and gates. Hans Hopp’s house is the low house on Chapaev, and it is not a church. The Ratshof church is farther west, on Stanochnaya. The puppet theatre in the former Queen Louise church and Central Park close the walk on the east, on the same avenue, nearer the city.

- Villa Toscana — Ресторан на первом этаже гостиницы на Пушкина, 15, терраса к Центральному парку. Утром завтрак до одиннадцати, с полудня основное меню. Сайт зовёт с улицы. Закрытие вечера в карточках расходится, сетка пустая.
- Вагонка — Ночная комната города в бывшей кирхе Христа в Ратсхофе: концерты, танцы и бары на двух этажах. Клуб открылся в 1977 году при вагонзаводе и по-прежнему собирает город на ночь.
