The station and both gates are the southern bank, and the island is already another shore. Traffic still runs through the Brandenburg Gate on Bagration Street: watch it from the pavement. The Friedland Gate on Dzerzhinsky Street stands by the moat, and its passages are walled up. The monument to Kalinin is on the square in front of the station.
