Kislovodsk's first street, a pedestrian half-kilometre between Kirov Street and the colonnade. Vokzalnaya Street cuts across the middle, and the colour-and-music fountain stands at that crossing. Along it are the Main Narzan Baths in their eastern-style building, houses from the resort boom, cafés and shops. In the evening people walk here in sanatorium robes and without them: the boulevard is built for that.
Why go
Come in the later afternoon and stay for the fountain. In the morning the town drinks narzan farther south, in the gallery. The boulevard itself opens up when the heat drops and the jets are lit.
Where to stay
Sleep here if you want to step out onto the promenade, the baths and the park gate. This is the resort's night: shops, the fountain, people out late. For quieter mornings and ordinary groceries, base yourself on Prospekt Mira.

Vokzalnaya cuts the boulevard in half at the singing fountain. The south end meets the colonnade; the north end comes out at Kirov Street and October Square.
