Red Sun, the Blue Stones, the Kosygin path
The largest and highest part of the park, past the Grey Stones. Terrenkur No. 2 ends at the gazebo on Red Sun, and on a clear day Elbrus is visible from there. Beyond are the Blue Stones and, if you keep going, the path toward the Small Saddle. Pines, wind, and a marker every hundred metres. The flower beds are behind you.

The gazebo on Red Sun and the view of Elbrus from the high edge of the park.
A clear morning, and only after the lower park and the Valley of Roses already felt easy. Start early. The cable car takes off part of the climb; the top is still a walk. If Elbrus is in cloud, the view is worth another day.
This is a day above the town. Sleep down below, on the boulevard or on Prospekt Mira, and come down while it is light and the cable car is running.

Terrenkur No. 2 from the gallery to Red Sun is a full day, about six kilometres one way. The cable car starts at the Temple of Air in the middle park and cuts the climb. The viewpoint is still reached on foot.
