    Arena Civica

    On December 19, 1943, eight antifascists brought from San Vittore prison were executed inside the arena after a summary Fascist tribunal. It was the first Fascist mass execution of its kind in occupied Milan, remembered by a plaque outside and a marker at the execution site.
