Why go
If you are stepping off a train, this is the city’s first face. There is no reason to ride here for the square alone.
Where to stay
A practical night by the station and the metro. Loud, and in the morning you do not have to drag a suitcase across the centre.

The square is the station and a change of transport, and it is a short stop. The piece of Nevsky people come for starts farther west, toward Anichkov Bridge. Ligovsky leaves the square as a shopping strip: the centre of the city is the other way.

- Dolphinwolf — Бар пивоварни «Островица» на Боровой, 21. Сайт указывает одну дверь. Вход с Боровой.
- El Copitas — Во двор-колодец на Колокольной ходят в спикизи, который к десятилетию открылся заново на том же адресе.
- Orthodox — Русский коктейльный бар. В 2024 году переехал с Рубинштейна, во двор по-прежнему ведут граффити.
- Авангард — Коктейльное бюро Маркова на перекрёстке барного квартала.
- Витя — Бар в парадной дома 19 на углу Восстания и Жуковского. «Афиша» описывает лестничную комнату. Лобби отеля «Акьян» в том же доме — стойка «Серж», в эту карточку она не входит.
- Колокол — Кофейня на Колокольной, 6, у Владимирского собора. Городские кофейные списки держат один адрес. El Copitas занимает дом 2 на той же улице.
- Октав — Гостиная после винного Utopist: две старые системы, пластинки и вино у Достоевской.
