Gangnam station and the boulevards south of the river. Offices by day, light and a crowd at the exit in the evening. These are not the quiet streets of Cheongdam.
Why go
Come in the evening. By day there is no reason to look at the towers. The life is at the subway exits.
Where to stay
A base if you want the south and the subway in every direction. The palaces are on the other bank.

Cheongdam and Dosan Park are to the north, closer to the river. That is a separate ring. The station boulevard does not turn into it.
