Come on the first morning, at opening. By noon the courtyards are full of groups. In the evening the lanes stay.
A fair base if you want the cathedral on foot at opening. The lanes are loud late, and a suitcase is a poor fit on the cobbles.

The lanes are short and fold back on themselves: keep the Giralda in mind when you want the cathedral again. The Alcázar is inside this same walk, and the Archive of the Indies stands on the same square as the cathedral.
