Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki
This 1904 Jewish-owned commercial building was among the few in the city center to survive the Great Fire of 1917. Before becoming a museum, it housed the Bank of Athens and the offices of the French-language Jewish newspaper L’Indépendant; its collections now preserve cemetery stones, synagogue fragments and testimony from the community the city lost.
