Ebisu, Garden Place
Ebisu, south of Shibuya: the garden by the old brewery, side streets and dinner without the crossing. Calmer than Shibuya by day. In the evening there are tables, not the Shinjuku neon.
Why go
Come for dinner. In the morning the quarter is offices, and there is nothing to see.
Where to stay
Worth it if you want a southern base quieter than Shibuya. Asakusa is across the city.

Garden Place is east of the station, past the footbridge. The streets with the small doors run west.
Where to have it
- Bar Martha — Музыка здесь вместо закуски: говорят тихо, снимать нельзя, колонки размером со шкаф. Хозяин собрал комнату так, чтобы пластинка была важнее разговора.
- Bar Track — Хозяин поставил эту комнату, чтобы в Эбису можно было пить и слушать пластинку, не перекрикивая её. Правило то же: тихо, без съёмки, место не бронируют.
