Vyborg Castle, the Round Tower and the old-town streets are one walk over a short bridge. Monrepos park on the bay is farther north and not in this ring.
Why go
The first day: the castle in the morning, the old streets after. In the evening the tower is lit, and the park is already shut.
Where to stay
Sleep in the old town: the morning walk to the castle is on foot. Monrepos is a trip without the suitcase.

The castle is on the island, the old streets on the shore: the Fortress Bridge is between them. The Round Tower stands on Market Square, and it is not in the castle yard. Monrepos is north of here, a separate trip: on foot it is another outing.
Where to have it
- August Wahl — Джаз-кафе в доме Валя: кофе, еда и живая музыка. У входа стоит пианино, на котором играют с улицы.
- Жасмин — Восточный зал того же хозяина, что держит «Чемпион». Сюда идут ужинать компанией, когда нужна комната, а не стойка паба.
- Чемпион — Паб в доме Большого Киммо, который в городе называют по имени уже много лет. Днём здесь завтракают, вечером сидят с разливным пивом.
- Эспиля — На месте довоенного финского павильона в парке снова работает ресторан под старым именем. Летом сидят на террасе, по вечерам бывает живая музыка.
