House on the Rock
This small burgher house sits directly on a granite outcrop where two medieval streets meet. Tradition associates it with a prosperous barber, giving it the nickname “Barber’s House”; although heavily altered after wars and sieges, it remains a rare fragment of domestic Swedish-era Vyborg.

Vyborg Tram Monument
Vyborg’s tram system operated from 1912 to 1957 under Russian imperial, Finnish and Soviet administrations, continuing despite repeated changes of state and population. The replica car stands near the site of Finland’s worst tram accident, where two cars overturned in 1920, killing five people and injuring about twenty.

Burgher's Estate
This surviving merchant compound preserves the irregular orientation of Vyborg before the orderly street plan imposed in the seventeenth century. Its stone residence and former stable evoke the prosperous but heavily defended civilian town that grew in the shadow of the castle and its recurring wars. Bank of the Nordic Countries Building
Its original Swedish and Finnish inscriptions advertised the multilingual commercial world of imperial-era Vyborg, while the banking hall was designed almost like a temple with the vault occupying the place of an altar. Since 1945 the former financial palace has housed a public library, turning a monument to private capital into a Soviet and Russian repository of books.
