Once the inner town is done. Freud in the morning, the Volksoper later in the day.
Where to stay
A quiet bed if the days are spent in the centre anyway. Stephansplatz is a walk back across the Ring.

The Freud Museum stands on Berggasse, the Volksoper on Währinger Straße, and the Liechtenstein garden sits between them. The house where Schubert was born is a little further, in Lichtental, and that is not a return to the cathedral.
