Where to stay
Sleep here if the cathedral should be outside the door. After the shops close the streets empty, and a suitcase is awkward in the courtyards.

One morning is enough inside the Ring: the cathedral square, the Graben, then the Hofburg. The opera is the southern edge of that same walk, on Kärntner Straße, and it is not a second district.
