What comes after the free stops

Titles and photos, without the stories: those are what you unlock. Nothing here is a spoiler.

  1. Vlasyevskaya Tower

During Pskov's independence, merchants entering from the floating bridge passed through these gates and presented their goods to merchant elders, making the tower both fortress and republican customs post. Tolls were collected here, the gates were locked at night, and trade could proceed only after local officials gave permission.

  3. Dovmontova Tower, Pskov

  4. Veche Square

This space inside the Pskov Kremlin was the political stage of the republic: the citywide veche chose officials, called or dismissed princes, debated war and peace, and approved laws. On January 13, 1510, Moscow ordered the assembly abolished and its bell removed, turning the square into the scene of Pskov's lost independence.

  5. Trinity Cathedral in Pskov

The mother church of the Pskov Eparchy, with a history dating back to the 10th century.

  6. Kutekroma Tower

A historic defensive tower in the Pskov fortress system.

  11. Princess Olga Monument

A monument dedicated to Princess Olga, commemorating the 1100th anniversary of Pskov's first mention in chronicles.
