A difficult Milan debut
Cattaneo made his professional debut for A.C. Milan against Juventus on 29 March 1970, after injuries forced coach Nereo Rocco to field him. The 18-year-old defender marked Pietro Anastasi, who scored twice in Juventus’s 3–0 victory.
A competition-winning headquarters
At the Former Headquarters of the Fascist Union of Industrial Workers in Como, Cattaneo was one of the principal designers behind the winning competition entry. He regarded the building as one of his final major works.
