Why go
The first morning, before the goods come out onto the pavement. The lake again in the evening, when the lights go on.
Where to stay
A fair base if you want to walk out to the lake. The mausoleum is at the other end of the city.

The street name still names the old trade, but by day that trade is already on the pavement and you walk between the bundles, while the morning shows the thresholds and the signs. The lake is the southern edge of the quarter: the red bridge to Ngoc Son is a dead end, out and back.
